Durrat Al Bahrain

Durrat Al Bahrain

The Durrat Al Bahrain resort construction project, a joint venture between GLDD and AA Nass Contracting, on behalf of the Bahraini Government, involved the reclamation of more than 6 million square meters of land. The resort consists of 13 islands, with more than 2,000 villas, 2,000 apartments, luxury hotels, restaurants, promenades, shopping centers, a marina, spas, sports facilities, and an 18-hole golf course. GLDD utilized a spread of four cutter suction dredges to meet the project’s strict schedule demands.
